Lester Chambers Attacked for Trayvon Martin Dedication - Exclusive Footage (by fuse)

Blues musician Lester Chambers, a 73-year-old man, dedicated a song from his set to Trayvon Martin. A racist in the audience felt some kind of way about it, so she climbed her thirsty ass on stage and attacked him.

Here is the video.

Now, see…

I’ll just leave this here.

I’m literally crying right now…

This happened in my fucking home town
This happened literally down the street from my house
I’m so fucking disappointed right now
I’m so enraged…

Wow…

my dear fellow white women and feminists:

please watch this video. Please watch how this white woman storms the stage and attacks an elderly Black man. Please understand that, from what I’ve read about this incident, she was let go without being charged for anything. Please watch this. And please understand that THIS is one of the reasons why we are not trusted. Does this woman’s actions speak for all white women? of course not.

but the next time you want to act like white women have never been or are never complicit in violent racism, think about this video. think about the sheer sense of entitlement this woman has, the forceful way she storms across the lawn and launches herself onto the stage at a mere dedication for a dead Black boy.

and let’s not play and act like if it was a Black man storming a stage that a white woman was performing on he wouldn’t have been immediately maced, beaten by security and/or arrested before he even had the chance to get up on stage. But no on ever expects white women to do this to Black men, right? Because white women haven’t ever been and still aren’t complicit and active participants in violence against Black people, right?

This is fucking disgusting. I hope this woman feels absolutely fucking ashamed for doing this violent, racist act. I hope she fucking sees that this video and possible articles have gone viral, calling her out for being the racist douchebag that she is. I hope she feels shame for the rest of her fucking life.

BUT WHITE WOMEN DON”T HAVE FUCKING STRUCTURAL PRIVILEGE OVER BLACK MEN?

LOOK AT THIS SHIT

THIS WHITE WOMAN ASSAULTED A BLACK MAN FOR ACKNOWLEDGING BLACKNESS

THIS WHITE WOMAN ASSAULTED A BLACK MAN FOR LOVING BLACKNESS

THIS IS WHY I DON’T FUCKING TRUST WHITE WOMEN WHO GO ON AND ON ABOUT ‘MISANDRY’ WHEN Y’ALL ASSES GET BLACK MEN HURT AND KILLED.

REMINDER WHY BLACK PEOPLE DON’T GIVE A SINGLE FUCK ABOUT MACKLEMORE GIVING THAT PITIFUL ASS REMEBERANCE OF TRAYVON MARTIN. MACKLEMORE GETS PRAISE AND ACCOLADES AND THIS BLACK MAN GETS ASSAULTED. THIS HAPPEN ON FUCKING CAMERA, IT’S RECORDED BUT WHERE IS HER ARREST DOE, AND MACKLEMORE SAYS WHAT THIS MAN AND JAMIE FOXX AND PLENTY OF OTHER BLACK FOLKS BEEN SAYING, BUT MACKLEMORE IS ENLIGHTEN HE IS THE SAVIOR OF HIP HOP, HE IS POST BLACK…..THIS IS WHY WE DON’T LIKE YOU WHITE PEOPLE…THIS IS WHY WE ARE ANGRY, THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE THAT KEEPS HAPPENING IS WHY WE ARE FUCKING PISSED.

Black Mothers Speak Out After Trayvon: ‘My Son Is Not a Suspect’

In the aftermath of George Zimmerman’s acquittal on all charges related to the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, the continued racial profiling of young black men has become even bigger news than usual. On Tuesday, Essence Magazine launched a social media campaign called #HeIsNotASuspect to challenge the negative images of young black men in the media. Its aim is to end racial profiling by targeting the often unacknowledged victims of violence targeted at young black men: the black mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters, and girlfriends who are often left behind to pick up the pieces.

So far, the campaign has unearthed beautiful images and declarations of love. Check them out after the jump.

New York Times, as shared in this tweet:
The Public Editor’s column last Sunday misstated the nature of the killing of Trayvon Martin. It should have been referred to as a shooting, not a crime.

I am not Trayvon Martin.
I keep seeing people say, “I am Trayvon Martin.” I understand the sentiment. If that is you, that I respect that.
I am not Trayvon Martin. I am a middle-aged, middle class, overweight white guy. I am also a teacher, and in 20 years of teaching, I have seen plenty of Trayvon Martins. More accurate, I have seen plenty of young men who fit the caricatured image that is being portrayed of this kid in the media, Left and Right, Fox News and MSNBC. I’m guessing that neither portrayal - saint or thus - is accurate. People are more complex than that.
None of the Trayvon Martins I know deserve to die. They may arouse suspicion, but your paranoia is not their crime. If they do commit a crime, they deserve to have a trial. Trayvon Martin’s jury consisted of one person. That is not how we are supposed to do things in America. Unfortunately, that is our reality.
Here’s my point: You don’t have to be Trayvon Martin to know this is wrong. You don’t have to be black, or young, or a “troubled student” or a pot smoker to know this was murder. And you don’t have to be the parent of Trayvon Martin to know this was a gross miscarriage of justice.
Let me be more blunt: This type of injustice will continue until enough guys like me - guys who are not Trayvon Martin - have had enough and finally say “No more.”
You don’t have to be Trayvon Martin. You just have to be human.]

Unfortunately, in the blink of an eye, and again in another 24-hour period, everyone’s favorite music icon was reported attacked onstage right after dedicating “People Get Ready” to Trayvon Martin.
