i saw a captcha the other day that was LITERALLY A PUZZLE where you had to move little pieces to complete the image. it was kind of neat but then i discovered that clicking and dragging the pieces was impossibly hard.

Some of these allude to the 8 immortals! The first one refers to Lü_Dongbin, the second alludes to Tieguai Li (Iron Crutch Li), the seventh refers to Han Xiangzi and the last one, He Xiangu.
I must admit, I don’t like the Wade Giles way of romanizing Chinese characters. I mean, what the hell is “Tso?”
I always liked the “ts” romanization. I believe it’s “x” now, but “ts” looks easier to pronounce.
But I pronounce “ts” and “x” by making a “s” sound but putting my tongue in the “t” position so my bias may be showing.
