One of the things I like about teaching kids who don’t have the best grasp of the English language is the fact that they come up with such interesting ways of expressing themselves.
Like one student talking about a poetess doing something different from what “man poets” of her day would do.
“Man poets.”
Oh, and “man lover.” As opposed to “male lover.”
