white-identifying Chinese people. 

aka Chinese people who think and act just like white supremacists, think that white people are awesome and just as good, if not better, and look down at other POC, especially Black folk, as a result of identifying with whiteness, drinking the colorblind logic and unable to see their complicity in white supremacist systems as a result since they have other privileges preventing them from empathizing with non-Chinese POC, AND distracted by anti-Chinese oppression but rather than seeing how white supremacy upholds it, uses it as a tool to deny aforementioned complicity.

  1. ordream said: correct me if i’m wrong, but i believe the preference for “white” skin predates Western colonialism in China? the reason is that it means you’re wealthy, you don’t have to work in the field, and therefore you have lighter skin.
