folks, please please please do not enable truncating your RSS feeds of your blogs and tumblrs! it means that folks like me, who use RSS to make all of the posts and articles of various sites accessible through one simple mean. truncating your posts means that we have to click through the RSS notification to see the entirety of the post, and frequently these sites are inaccessible through things like font and color choices [lime green text on a red background? no thanks D:], background music and potentially triggering animated gifs.

if you do not know if your tumblr is set to truncate RSS notifications, you can click on the link of your tumblog’s name at the top of the page, go to Blog Settings and down to RSS Feeds. please keep the checkmark box there off! i’d greatly appreciate it :)
