Merf. Thinking is Hard.

Jha can has random thoughtz about tapirs, kitties, comics, pretty people, social justice, things in general.

Oh, Tumblr! Look what I made in class today!
This is a Shelly bra, also known as a vertical seam bra. It differs from a standard classic bra that I’ve been making, because the cup is made of four different parts instead of just two: two lower cup pieces, one upper cup piece (the lace), and the power bar to the side that helps give the boob a push forward. It’s supposed to be more supportive for larger-boobied people. It’s really the cup (and the straps) that is very different; everything else is pretty much standard bra stuff. Beverly (the teacher, and basically the Fairy Bramother) says it feels different wearing this one, and asked which one I preferred, and I’m not sure! So I’ll alternate between the two over the next few days and see.
I went with a pink and ivory lace, and ivory fabric with pink findings. The class started at 10am, and I finished by 5pm! Nice change from the first bra class I took, where I needed extra time and the next day to finish my first bra ^^ And my needle didn’t break once! I have to oil my machine tho.
