Outer lining of my vest is done! :D Now to make an inner lining, and start drafting the skirt.  I was super bad yesterday and splurged on this silk. There was only 3 1/2 yards left so I took it all. This outfit might have cost me less if I’d simply bought it but what the fuck ever. Where am I going to get a vest/skirt outfit like this? The collar has two layers of fusible interfacing and I think I fucked it up because it’s not completely smoothed down. I also think that maybe I should have bought ivory-coloured material for it?? I think I’m going to need ivory material anyway, because I plan on making a pleat at the back of the skirt and it would be cool to see ivory peeking out when I walk. I already have ivory ribbon to tie up the halter. I dunno. We’ll see what happens. I was thinking of lace earlier but I think I will skip that in favour of something simpler.
