Just had this pointed out to me, it’s barely mentioned in the articles I’ve been reblogging. From the Miami Herald article:
[Zimmerman] has cooperated with the investigation and never retained an attorney, Lee said. His phone numbers are disconnected and no one answered the door at his home or his parents’ home. His in-laws shooed a reporter away. After death threats and an avalanche of hate mail, Lee said Zimmerman went into hiding. Local station WFTV Channel 9 reported that he showed up with a truck last week and moved out.

Just ONE line from the Orlando Sentinel:
Attempts by The Miami Herald to reach him have been unsuccessful — a telephone number listed to him has been disconnected — and it was unclear Sunday whether he had retained an attorney.
Phone lines cut. HE MOVED OUT. HE CANNOT BE CONTACTED.
Have I been under a rock this past week that I didn’t notice anything? Or is my Google-fu working and there is just no news on how Zimmerman has gone into hiding? Or is this just not important?
